The Marriot huh. Why is the Hilton booked Eric? What night or nights is everyone booking Friday and Saturday or either or? I will stay Fri for sure. I have stayed at the Sterling Inn on Van Dyke it is a nice hotel with indoor waterpark. It is at 15 mile I believe. Someone post a number for reservations and I will get mine at that hotel also.

A few of us stayed at the Holiday Inn Express (I think) on Little Mack. Had a pool and hot tub, seemed clean, free breakfast. Pretty generic and reasonable. I'm game for whatever, though. Probably just a Fri night for me.

Holiday Inn Express sounds the way to go, as I am setting here watching the snow pile up, I don't think the campground is such an hot idea. We stayed there last year, nice place, pool hot tub, was nice, anyone think we could get a group rate ?

I just checked the price of a room at the H I Xpress, and they want $98/ night I might try to find something cheaper since I'm not going to use the pool (probably get in after it closes)

Baymont Inn on VanDyke is $46/night thru Expedia. I'm thinkin' that looks pretty good to me.

I might be into staying 2 nights if others are, otherwise I'll just hit the road on Sat.

I booked at Motel 6 right off Van Dyke on Chicago. Not fancy, but two beds and a shower for 42/night. See everyone there.

Okay, got the low-down on Motel 6 and I am cancelling those reservations and going with Baymont Inn with Peter! I suggest everyone else do the same. I am staying Friday and Saturday nights.

I was going to work on it tomorrow, but it sounds like most of the day will be used up on other stuff. Maybe Sunday or Monday I will get to it. Hope it works like I am hoping. Pretty clear in my head, just need to make it happen.



Tony, you got guts after last year. I'm sure you don't want to be figuring out how to get it running with the clock ticking down again.



I might do one night or 2 depending on who is there for Sat nite, wife and son's mood, etc.
