GM New Hybrid Busses and Pickup

Look at MSN.com there is a story about a diesel hybrid busses. Also talks about a diesel hybrid full size pickup truck for 2005 or 2006.



Looks like diesel is going to make a major leap forward, but in conjunction with diesel will be hybrid electric.

well, when i was at this years toronto autoshow, they had on display in the GM area a inline 6 diesel that had the hybrid allison trans behind it on display painted silver. i was so tempted to ask the gm guys why the engine had "daimlerchrysler" on it [t'was a isbe :-laf]
