Due to the extreme amount of PM's I've been receiving requesting the template for the heatshield... ... ... ... ... .

15 so far this year



Im still not sure where people are getting the info about me having the template lately ... ... ... . but its like wild fire :D



... ... ... ... ... ..... I started this thread just to let everyone know it is available at my (UNDERCONSTRUCTION) WEB SITE



I 'm glad to help out when ever I can I've even sent a printed out copy all cut out and taped together to florida :)



KEY INFO FOR THE SHIELD.....



DRILL THE HOLES 1/2 inch or the shield may rub the AC lines



Use 1/8 INCH STOCK

Thought I'd throw in a Thank You for the template help. For those of you who need a heat shield due to installing a bhaf, this is the one to use (imho). Dieselminded was kind enough to help me through downloading problems for the template that is on his website. Easy to make, cost effective, fits properly and works.

wouldn't it make sense though while useing the heat shield while having the truck pushing more fuel than stock and turbo psi in the 30 range, couldn't that make your turbo overheat with the heat shield on it? i have the bhaf but i have so far refrained from putting the heat shield on. i would think when useing the heat shield you would be required to use a cool down timer or something. i thought heat was bad on our turbos.

The Heat Shield is not on the turbo



I run 45 psi WOT 5x5 and Ive never had a problem



I haul under constant load also with Same results

HEres a New Direct Link to the Guide/Template on the home page I have A Contact to a Fabrication guy and currently he has Shipped the templates all over the US he supply's hard ware also ... I get absolutly no kick back from the sales When Ever I get a hair brained Idea he Welds/Fabricates it for me and my truck for free so thats my kick back. .



So Who On TDR has got a Shield From Tad ???? Satisfied ???? Recomend ????
