I am waiting for dave to get back from SEMA show so I can talk to him about a new torque converter and valve body. I was wondering if I should/need to get the billet flex plate why everything is apart? I dont want to do the whole transmission right now. Any other suggestions?

If you're not going to get wild on power, the TC and valve body will be just fine. I've ran mine for 30000+ miles, towing and daily driving anywhere between 400-550 hp and had no issues. If you're going to drag race, or sled pull, then you need to do more.
