Goin' to the Big Easy....

Me and the better half are going to New Orleans for a week. Our 13 year old son is competing in the Sports Acrobatics National Championships. (insert icon for proud parents, he is a 3 time state of California champ) We will have some time for sightseeing and are looking for suggestions of things to do and see. Would like to hear from any members in the "Nawlins"(is that right?) area of things to do and see and also areas to steer clear of.
