Hey guys, I'm going to take a couple weeks off and head into the bush for some R&R... . time to decompress a bit. .

Check in here when you can and make sure that anyone who needs help gets it, especially some of the newer members just getting started.

I expect to return on the 22nd or 23rd of Oct.

Regards, bob...

Well Pastor I think we can hold it down for a couple of weeks. Heck when you come back my pickup might even be on the road again. Have a good time.

Oh yeah, no going off topic while you're gone!! ;)

So now would be a good time to install your p-pumps, 24 valve heads, lock up overdrives, and dana 80's, all while the pastors gone. :-laf

We'll be good, honest Bob, you can trust us! ;)

Have a good time Bob, good luck and shoot something for me.

Remember Last Year's Follies??

Guys,

You all recall the follies Bob and his cohorts encountered last year?? What a story!! I won't be surprised to learn Disney is in negotiation to the right to that and make a movie. Too bad Jimmy Stewart isn't around to play Bob's role!!

Could somebody locate his adventure quest of last year. I'd simply luv to read it again. This time I'm gonna make a hard copy.

Bob. Don't want to see you on Dateline with Dan Rather again this year :-laf

Guys. I can't believe his wife would allow him outta the house for another trip after the last one

Ok, I'm home guys..... WOW... . I had forgotten (happens alot at my age;) )the escapades of last year... we had a great time and while it was not as wacky and off the wall, it was great to get away. .

Oh, and yes, I did get to harrass some timber, plants, and best of all some wildlife. . no not my brother or my other brother who was also present...

I got a nice 3X3 mule deer buck on Friday morning.

It was a pudgy little guy and he "took one for the team" as they say...

I obviously said a little prayer and gave him his first and last confessional. . ;):D

As we speak he is "in the shop" getting rebuilt into a more appropriate state so as to provide good table fare. . (that's food to you Dave. . ;);) )

This year my younger brother Randy (Woodie) and his gal hooked up with us for the last week of hunting in the Cariboo...

Randy is driving a '92 CTD that we have done some work to... last year he got "closest to 350 HP without going over" by turning in a 347 'something' run.

We all had a hoot... all of us running around with personal "headlights" on searching for more wood during the last 5 days of snowy weather... the first week was 70* plus every day... go figure.

Well, that's the short report for now... I see someone left a couple empty oil cans in the corner and didn't wipe up the mess either... . ;)

I'll take a few days to catch up on the post and any other things like PM's or email so be patient while I 'have at it'.

regards, Bob... .

Happy Returns

Good to have you back on line. We will need to discuss my pump parts and the turbo I'll be sending your way Oo. :D

Glad to have you back

Hey your back. Excellent you got a buck too. Thats great our black tail season just closed yeserday. We killed 25 off of the ranch this year. It couldnt have been better weather. It rained off and on. I killed two bucks opening weekend. A nice three point and a little forked horn it was a good taster though. There was quite a few forks and some nice 3x3's and about 4 or 5 nice 4x4's. I still have not seen the big bucks that I saw before the season, but I am sure they will be coming out now that the hunting season is over. I am glad you had fun. I also have some questions about my fueling system. Top secret of course or at least untill I find out if it works. It may be a total flop, but you never know without trying. I will send you a pm one of these days. Oh and I got my pickup running need a re torque and I will be set. I aslo have the flanges for my twins so I will be getting started on those shortly. :D :D

Truth be known, Bob and his brother Randy went to a ranch were they raise hand feed deer and picked out bambi. With a hand full of corn they lured their pray in the back of his truck and drove it to the butcher, were the butcher did the deed after they left. :-laf

I wondered what had happened to you Mark, figures you would show up to poke fun at the pastor :-laf. Did you get your truck fixed/replaced yet?

Michael

Fixed it along time ago. $1600 in parts (2 new fenders and new roof skin from Dodge, used hood) and will have it freshly painted when the wife sells her second car, seeing as I bought her a Golf TDI 5 sp to drive instead because it has 4 air bags and A/C. You never know what will happen when I drive.

I already over doubled the hp and torque of the Golf diesel which dyno'd at 175whp and 290 ftlbs. It has a little more now since my last dyno, I'm guessing 185whp and 320ftlbs. :D
