Copterdoc Where Are You......

Well after putting it off, I have decided to go dually. Got the front hubs for my dana 60 and will have to get new bearings and discs for them(just put new ones on the SRW hubs I have now  ) I am now looking for a set of dually fenders and a dana 70 rear end. Got a line on a recon dana 70 out of UT for $850 with shipping, guys got a bunch of the laying around. If any one here could measure the distance between backing plates on your dually, could you post them here ? Looks like I will be getting rid of my 285/16 tires and wheels and buying 7 more 235/16 tires, I have been running the Goodyear AT/S and I think I will stay with them for the duallys.

Kyle I have a friend ( yea I realy do) that has 90 dually that got wreck that he is parting out I can check on the finders it looked like they realy cut out wheel opens before they put on finders the other day he still had the finders bed rear end and factory chrome sims if you want I will check on what ever parts you need George

During a heavy snow storm I drove a friends 4X4 dually and boy did that suck, its all over the road everytime I came into some ruts, as for traction forget about 2wd, I had to rely on the 4X4 much more that I would with my SRW. The dualls hung up on the ruts and road up on top of the snow instead of cutting through it. He has some nice Mich. tires on the truck, and we had just tools and extra fuel on board( the way I normally run) So in short I am keeping my SRW and the heck with dualls, I will be driving in a lot more snow than I will have the need for dualls. So any one out there, I have a set of OEM dana 60 front dually hubs and rotors to get rid of.
