CKimball, go to www.flyingj.com and you can plan your trip for fuel prices. Right now Albuquerque is 2. 849, Guyman, Ok. is 350 miles from there, and there is a trk. stop on the east end of Guyman that is about the cheapest in that area, WestGo is the name. I am really surprised that Kingman and Winslow are 2. 849. The 2 flying J's in Ks. are 3. 179.

BTW, I have a real good friend in Agusta, Ks. , Charles Everett Kimball, know him??

Have a good and safe trip. I travel that same route to the LA area quite often, If I can help any more give me a shout.

I don't know what's going on with erratic fuel pricing.

At the Flying-J, in Phoenix, we were at $2. 75/9, the other day. Some of the local stations, near me, are at $2. 83/9.

We were, almost, always much more expensive than Oklahoma Flying-J's. The other day, they were at $2. 95/9, I believe. 20 cents more than in Phoenix???

Check Flying-J, Pilot, etc. 's websites for pricing, along the way.

Just before you get into Albuquerque, there is an Indian Reservation with a truck stop ( SO. side of road). Check their pricing & compare with the "J" on the west side of Albuquerque.

I wonder if the new ULSD is now impacting pricing in OK?

I just got back from a trip through NV, AZ, UT, CO, KS, OK, AR, MO, IA, NE etc. CA and NV were the most expensive, followed by UT and CO, then the rest. I think the cheapest I paid was $2. 83 and the most $3. 35. On the way home I stopped at my usual place here and paid $3. 17.

Their prices are usually a touch cheaper, but not much... I have spent a good amount of time out there...
