Well, I was going to buy a new truck a few weeks ago and drove several. I was really disappointed with the lack of performance that they had. When I developed the head gasket problem a few weeks ago, I thought that since the head had to come off, it might be a good time to do a "little bit" of work on the old truck.



I have on order, a Stage 2 PDR head W/O-rings, a governor spring kit, and a PDR cam and lifter set. I also am working on a set of twins but that may or may not happen as the gent that has them is having some problems with his truck at the moment and is not sure he needs to go to a bigger set as planned. I'll be working on this item to see what I can come up with.



I'm having Brad Ponci in Eureka install the above and hope it gets done in about two more weeks after the parts get here. He is the mechanic that did most of the work on Stomps truck.



This should make the old girl run a bit better :-laf Oo.



This is going to be my Fathers Day gift to myself. :-laf



I keep reminding the wife this is going to be cheaper than the new truck would be! (not sure she believes me tho!)



I'm running out of room on the signature section!

Don't think you have too much to worry about re: me catching up to you. You have that big pump sitting up on top! I guess I'll need to put the modified cone back in and get some bigger injectors once everything gets setup.

Don't worry about it Stan. I gave up on the "Signature Line" a little while ago. Just put in your base truck and simply add "Twins"

Thanks guys, I sure am looking forward to this. Talked to Harry at Piers and he is getting the head together, not sure when all this will happen yet. Like I said, the twins may be a little down the road before they happen.
