Does that happen automatically or do you need to sign up for that as part of a service agreement/plan?
So does it also email your wife to tell her how many times a month you stop off at the bar for a beer on the way home?? LOL
I've had dealership automatically sign me up for things I was told I could have but didn't decide I wanted yet. That's probably what happened. If you don't want this, the best way is tell the sales person you had you want it stopped or you'll through a fit in the dealership. I calmly did this the last time and they balked, but when I said are your coming with me ? I'm going to the middle of the sales floor and start getting verbally ******. They were happy to stop everything I didn't want and reviewed everything with me stopping other trash I didn't want.

It's not a problem until the information is used against you during an accident investigation/insurance settlement, or to do things like deny warranty coverage. I am not a tin foil hat type of guy, but it doesn't take any far stretch of the imagination to visualize how FCA collecting this information may not be in your best interests.I'm not worried in the least about this type of information going to FCA, it's not foil hat type information, just posted it for FYI.........

If/when I ever buy a new truck, that call home to mama crap with be the first "delete". :-laf
Remember the last Toyota debacle ? They used all the information found on the, what they like calling the little black boxes, to use against the drivers and denied coverages. It holds info of speed driving, position of pedals, engine rams and way more. One of the people who died was documented that the pedal was depressed and he was accelerating before he hit and they denied the claim. The police was wanting specific info documented for their accident investigation use.
So how much would you be willing to let them have ?
