Anyone Looking For A Nice Lance Truck Camper?

I've heard this is a great campground for children and with the temps approaching triple digits on Sat. I figure the waterpark will work very well. Any of you guys suggest anything else to do there!!

Thanks in advance-Alan

I stayed there August 2008, CG is OK, full hook ups, etc. Nice enough CG, nice people, good policies. We ended up going to Dutch Wonderland for 2 days straight. It's great being able to walk back and fourth to the camper to eat/change clothes, everyone gets searched going into DW, no food allowed. It was really hot when I was there also, really hot ! Kids really enjoyed DW, me too! I'm giving up on Lancaster though as it has gone so commercial, seems all the Amish now buy from India and China. I'm going to Hershey Park in 3 weeks, 2 day Passes! Have fun

It may not be wise to recommend visiting a hot, non-airconditioned bakery during a heatwave, but if you like Pennsylvania Dutch pretzels, take a ride to Martin's Pretzels in nearby Akron, PA where local Mennonites produce pretzels all by hand. We had seen a segment on these pretzels either on the Food or Travel channel years ago, and had actually ordered some on a few occassions via the internet.

So, when we were at Hershey Park/Dutch Wonderland last summer, I convinced everyone (two families) to take a ride to visit the factory. The factory is a small, unimpressive building in a residential area. You had to hear all the groaning and complaining from the kids when we pulled into the parking lot. They all wanted to stay in the truck and play their video games..... but we dragged them into the factory. Once they were in the building, you had to see their eyes light up! They watched the ladies twisting the pretzels by hand and sampled some fresh, hot pretzels. They didn't want to leave!

I bought an 8 or 10lb box of broken pieces which I brought into the office when I went back to work... . that box lasted only a few days.....
