I finally got the 5th wheel lifted so it would connect to the new to me truck. Going from an 02 2500 to the 14 with the 6.7 with a 6 speed has been quite an eye opener for me. With the tow haul mode, engine break and the BD3 hitch this truck pulls our trailer with ease. This weekend we are headed up to Toledo Bend for some R&R and I am anxious to see how the truck handles the trailer in the hills.

comrade - my 18 cummins makes my old 02 2500 feel like a 1976 buick wagon with bias ply tires...i expect you will be happy with your upgrade. the new ones actually steer and drive straight, unlike my old 02. ( that i have put piles of money into and finally gave up because it drove like i was drunk all the time - and i do not drink and drive ). cheers comrade. happy trucking!

Do the roads in La still suck? I know that they did when I was growing up there. The roads around Toledo Bend were always pretty good....that’s where we used to go race on the weekends.

The last time I traveled through LA the roads were pretty bad in some spots. I live north of Houston so no LA roads will be involved.
