any of you use this product? it has a challange. it states if you take the diesel power challange and it dosnt perform better then any other diesel additave they will refund your money. i figure i would try to get fellow tdr members advice before i waste my money on some more snake oil!... . james

I have not heard of the Golden Eagle brand additive.



What I have heard is that if the diesel fuel you a buying has the proper amount of cetane in it, adding more cetane (through an additive) will not produce any better performance.



I have been running Flying J fuel, & when I started adding Primrose Power Master 405 additive, which includes a cetane boost, I did not notice any improvement in performance or fuel economy. That would indicate that the fuel I'm buying has all the cetane that my engine can use.



If you live in an area of the country that is receiving ULSD (ultra low sulphur diesel), then using an additive that has "lubricity" in it will probably be a good idea. At least some of the ULSD is very low in lubricity & can cause premature wear of your HPCR fuel delivery system.

Never heard of this product!

I have been using a bio emzyne product in my truck. I am now on my 4th tank with it in. I am able to get 100 miles further down the road than I was able to go before. Some say it is snake oil, but that is what it is doing for me.



As I understand it,the product has 3 emzynes and a catalyst that breaks up the diesel fuel molecule into smaller ones. There for more air is able to get in contact with the fuel and lower the flash point. It also eliminates wasted fuel going out the tail pipe. My exhaust has no diesel smell or smoke. good for the environment as well.

Gold Eagle Diesel Power Rocks.

Never heard of Gold Eagle, eh? Maybe you've heard of Sta-Bil? HEET? 104 Octane boost? Same company, been around since 1932.



Diesel Power! is their diesel additive. I absconded with a couple cases of their product after the US Diesel Nationals last year. (They didn't want to take half a pallet home. ) I use their "Performance Improver & Cetane Booster. " I can tell a difference when I add it to the tank. Truck seems to idle smoother, and MPG is usually +1 at least. I'm long out of the free stuff, and I'm still buying Diesel Power! Good stuff, IMO.
