I wanted to add another brand of pads to the "good" list. My stock brakes were starting to squeal alot. I took a look at the factory pads and they looked like solid metal
When shopping for pads I found some Ferodo pads. Ferodo pads were the hot ticket back when I used to road race mototcycles in my braver/dumber days.
The salesman told me there were Ferodos, but they are sold as "Vortex" pads in USA. I dunno if it's the real deal or not...
The pads have been on for about 3K miles. Pedal feel is better, brake dust is non existant. They squeal only on the first stop in the morning. I did not turn the rotors before installing them.
Part # for the fronts on a 2001 -
