Experienced, reliable Dodge mechanic?

New owner transmission question

I'm trying to find a good dealer in the Denver, Colorado area to deal with. I'm looking to buy a truck, but am concerned with finding a dealer with a good service department.

Thank you for any recommendations!

If you can't find one in Denver there is a good 5 star dealer in Albuquerque not too far south. Melloy Dodge. There is also a bad dealer, who's name I won't mention. :)

You might try Go Dodge Southwest on Wadsworth and Tufts Ave. Haven't had a problem with them. You can view their inventory online and then deal with the internet salesman which is a small office outside of the main building. Don't know how their service department is, haven't had to take the truck in yet.

I have bought two trucks from Johnson Auto Plaza in Brighton. They were great in the fleet dept (kathy or Linda). However that was in 96 and 01 so not sure if they are still great or not. Never used the service dept so cant speak to that at all.

I do all my service with Gary at Christopher's Dodge. I don't really think they treat you any different whether or not you buy from them. Kathy and Linda are still up in Brighton, and do a good job for the purchase. I bought my '03 from them, and just picked up my company car from them in October.

What are you looking to buy? I'm in the same situation and live in the Aurora area. I contacted Dishman Dodge and got an internet quote on a fully decked out Laramie.

I'm just now starting to look. It needs to seat 4, have 4WD, the 5. 9, and tallest gears I can find, 3. 54 from what I've been reading. Other than that, still trying to form an opinion. I need to go over all the options and figure this out by summer.
