Good diesel shop in Houston area?

Does anybody have a recommendation for a shop in the Houston area that does aftermarket work and upgrades for Dodge/Cummins trucks? I want to have EGT and boost gauges installed. It seems simple enough to do, and I am a fairly competent mechanic... but all my experience is with gas engines. I'm fairly new to diesel. Any recommendations and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Ottis,

The best shop in Houston is Southern Plains Cummins. It is about 300 yds south of the 610 loop on Homestead road. NE corner of the loop. Their prices are about 30 percent lower than Dodge. Their knowledge about 300 percent greater.

Ditto of the Cummins shop off 610. They are one of the best in the South. See if a guy named Jue still works there, he had just been named shop foreman when I stopped going to Houston on a regular basis. He had his act together!
