Can anyone recommend a good muffler shop around the Austin or College Station area that could install my 4" system?

The place where I've always taken my vehicles won't do the straight pipe, so I have to find another alternative. I'm on vacation next week and I'll be down in that area starting Saturday. Was hoping that someone could recommend a good shop.

I got Rip's 4" system with the 5" tip. It's killing me that it's just sitting there waiting in Dallas while I'm in Florida. Can't wait to hear that beautiful music.

Thanks,

JM

Might not need a shop. There's a few members in that area that are pretty handy with that stuff. Maybe one of them will pipe up.

Hell, Drive down to Houston this weekend and I'll help ya put it on. :)

I'm sure someone closer can help but if all else, the offer stands.

If you decide to have it done by a shop, the muffin shop in austin is perhaps the best place in central Tx. They do everything by hand. . just don't try it on a weekend (racehaulers start lining up early). They are in central/north austin on burnet road.

Joe's Muffler (Plano) on Addison Road, just north of Beltline Road behind the Oasis Car wash does excellent work.

I've had real good luck with this guy in La Grange which is right in the middle of where you are  , he has done a couple of different vehicles and was always reasonably priced and very helpful, might wanna give him a call and talk to him, I can't remember his name right now, but him and his son run the shop and have been there for years:

American Muffler shop is pretty good. Had some things done there in the past. Nothing with the Dodge though.
