Hypertherm 43R?

Good compressor?

I have an air tank that I want installed on my truck for on board air and air horns. Its a 7. 5 gallon tank and I have a place to mount it but I don't have the material, tools or know how to do it. If the mount gets fabricated I can get it on the truck.

It looks like it will fit and it should not hand down past the frame rail. If it does it shouldn't be to noticeable.

Thanks for the input/help.

How about the navy hobby shop. Back when I was in the USMC there was always somebody that wanted to show off their skills and lend you a hand. I am a bit too far away.

I was there earlier this week puting my toyos back on and there wasn't very many people there. I will try again some weekend when everyone is out there.

Here you go JApol: Tom@ Action Turbo, 10722 Kenney,Santee,Ca. He's out by Gillespie Field 619-562-2550. This guy just got back from the Dakar race. He can do anything. He can probably do the whole install in no time.

I live in the San Fernando valley, around LA, and I was thinking about doing the same thing as you, I am a decent welder and ok fabricator, I was thinking about mounting the compressor and tank under the bed in between the frame rails, there is tons of room under there and I was gonna just cut some plate steel and drill it, then take long bolts and basically clamp the plate to the frame rails so I don't have to drill or modify the truck fram or body. Then you have a safe platform that is out of the way to mount all the accesories you like, dont need a ton of knowhow. I would have a hard time cutting 3/8 inch steel plate that is 12" x whatever width but I can go to IMS in sun valley and they are like 10 costcos put together and all they do is sell metal, they can cut anything you want, then go buy some bolts and your almost done.

I'm a decent welder myself but that was 10 years ago and I set my dads shop on fire doing it. Nothing hurt but some skin and hair.

The clamp that you are talking about is what I would like to do also.

Do you have another name for IMS? I tried to google it but nothing but crud came up. thanks
