I've been having some fascinating front end problems lately, mostly a light drift to the right. So I made an appointment for this morning at Network Alignment in Glendale.
After making the appointment, I noted that the drift corrected itself when I applied the brakes. So on Saturday, I did a brake inspection and adjustment, and found that the right caliper was sticking slightly. I unstuck it. The drift seemed to go away.
I went in for an alignment check this morning anyway, since it's been five years. They put the truck on the rack, and handed me back the keys in about 30 minutes. Alignment was within spec, and the front end components were tight. I was surprised at the tight part. They agreed that a sticky caliper would cause the problems.
Now the surprise: There was no charge. None. They wouldn't take any money, even though I tried. I had asked around with people I trust who have trucks. All of them recommended this place, and I see why.
