Good mileage with new bike!

Well, I have my new bike. Actually I have had it for 11 days and loving every minute of it. For those of you who don't know, it is a 2005 BMW F650GS (650 cc) Dakar (based on the Paris-Dakar Rally bike). It is an enduro, single cylinder, 2-spark, EFI, heated grip, ABS bike. Best part about it, I am getting great mileage. First complete tank I got 77. 8 mpg and last one I got 68. 9 due to slightly different driving styles. It is a 4. 4 gallon tank, with 1 gallon reserve, and I have about 480 miles on it as of today.

I'm happy so far! Just not looking forward to the end of nice weather!

With today's prices that's got to be a good feeling! But..... I heard ya' got rid of (or are getting rid) the truck!

Is this a new one or the used one you were talking about a few months ago? Glad you opted for what you really wanted. Get that service manual and have fun.





BTW, I recently bought another YZF600R just for the mileage. 45-50 mpg can't be bad and I can still do trackdays.
