Is "Dinosaur Oil" Really from Dinosaurs?

Several thoughts...

1. In spite of the abundance of "adjusted to today's economy" fuel is costing ME far more, percentage-wise vs income, than it did in 1990 - I dunno where or how the "expert economists" come up with those comparisons, but I suspect voodoo economics! ;)

2. Coal resources have INCREASED only because EPA and similar edicts have essentially removed it as an acceptable fuel source in our society - you USE less, and the apparent reserves just naturally increase.

3. In spite of the "bubble effect" that article pivots upon, fuel costs, just like housing and other expenses has pretty much always maintained an upward spiral, rarely anything other than very short-lived downward runs.

Personally, *I* suspect currently rising fuel prices are here to stay - "adjusted to today's economy" or otherwise... ;) :D

:D

Funny how they converted so many power plants from coal to natural gas, so that created a supply problem which causes everyone's bill to double. Remember when the big selling point of NG was it was so much cheaper than oil. "Go gas... go modern" was their slogan, but they left out "Go broke".
