Good place for chrome engine pieces

Where's there a good place on web to get chrome engine pieces. ie: valve covers, oil cap, etc.

That's mostly 12-valve stuff. Unfortunately there isn't much available for 3rd Gen trucks as far as chrome pieces, at least that you can just go out and buy. Most of the time when someone has chrome goodies on their rigs they've taken their own pieces and had them prepped and chromed by a plating service.

Think CUMMINS Valve Cover

How much interest would their be in a billet aluminum valve cover chromed or powder coated clear?? I am exploring the option of producing and selling. For 3rd gen

P-Bar, if you're going to do that I would do the Cummins valve cover.



Part number for 3rd Gen Cummins valve cover is 3965133.

The '03 and '04t rucks will require the upgraded retaining bolts, PN 3959400 and qty = 6, '04. 5 and up will not.



The blowby breather will have to be upgraded to make it work.

hey man no hard feelings, i had a real hard time finding someone to chrome plastic peices so suspect the same for others..... just do a search on the internet and you will eventually find someone local... billet vavle cover----boyd coddingtons shop didnt even want to touch it,AFE took my cover and called me two weeks later and said sorry wont do it, wnet to couple other machine shops and they wanted like 250-325 dollors for one. so good look if its priced right im in.

After watching Boyd's show , I think he is a little arrogant . He lost his butt in the wheel biz . I plan on my son drawing on solidWorks and taking to a job shop.
