I just ordered 12 ton Astro jack stands so I can install my Roadmasters. These guys had great prices - $69 for the pair. Shipping on the heavy stuff is $30 though (75lbs) #ad

That brand is the brand they carry... looks high in price . . you might look in yellow pages for SJ area. . next time your upthere stop in. .

I've found that Harbor Freight always wins for price because of free shipping. 12 ton stands are also $69 and probibly the exact same ones you bought. You have to watch out for tools they sell real cheap because thats what they are-cheap,but they also carry name brands.

I have the 6 ton 24" (fully extended) stands. When I put my Roadmasters on I still needed a piece of 2x4 on top of the jackstands, so my rear would drop and hang. These are pretty tall stands too.

Good move going to the 12 ton. Get the tallest & heaviest (within reason) you can find at an affordable price. #ad

One more place you may want to check out is www.toolsource.com. Great prices and they have some Cummins specific tools for injectors, etc.
