Have TST Box, and Air Intake, What next?

BD 'AutoLoc' vs. TorqLoc' vs. TowLoc'??

My lift pump is looking, like is a ready to give up. 22000 miles. I just thought maybe go with FASS and be over it for long time. Any idea on who have best price for complete system.

The Fuel Preporator and the FASS are two different units - but they seem to be exactly the same. I don't know anything about the Fuel Preporator, but I have the FASS and love it.

The Fuel Preporator is the fathers unit and the FASS is the sons unit. Some family issues going on:-{} :-{} :-{}

I have the FASS system on my wifes 2k and love it. . It changed the whole driving personality of the truck!

Ok, I purchase one from xtremediesel. With free shipping, they was cheapest. Looking forward to install this on my truck, this idea is very interesting. One more Q. for ppl with Fass already installed, did you keep old system (lift pump, filter and lines) for back up or you just ditch them?

N Evan,

I am interested in the same thing. I was planning on keeping mine as it does not make sense to expend all the labor to pull out the new lines if there ever might be a chance you would want to go back.

I would be interested to hear what others have to say about this though.

Thanks

I threw my old pump away. If it comes down to it and I had to buy another fuel pump set up, I'd buy another fass system.

I couldn't agree more, but I went one step farther and pitched the stock lines and fitting too. So far I'm a happy customer and the truck seems happy too :D .

Ok, Fass is in, no problem with installation. But have Q. about fuel pressure gauge sender. Where you guys install them ? My sender was originally installed after filter on the pump, now I use port on Fass. Is this port showing real pressure going to injector pump or will be better make some "T " and move sender to the front ? THX

Fass

I just left mine where it was installed where it was. I plumbed my fass into the back of my filter canister and my FP tee is just right before the VP 44

Do you still use original filter ? I plumbed my Fass directly to the pump how stated by instructions. I thought FASS need to run 3/8 hose all the way to the pump.

I'm just useing the fuel heater in stock canister no filter is in there now. I did have -6 (3/8) from tank to VP44 before I put on the FASS.

I use heated fuel lines on my semi (kw) would this be possible with this fass system? I live in the cold part of the country and spend most of my time in northern minnesota and n dakota. brrr fuel gelling is a problem even when you cut the fuel w/ anti gelling liquid.

I left my press gauge hooked up to the test port on the VP44 and plumbed my FASS to the stock banjo as I want to know my pressure at the VP44 and not at the FASS pump. Will be looking for a larger banjo fitting that the shrader test valve is, or can be attached to so I can keep my pressure reading from there.

There is a couple threads where guys have added a Racor fuel line heater prior to the FASS as not to wax up the filters. I will be doing that before this winter most likely.

Racor Part # is 14278
