I'm looking for a good shop in the Bay Area because I suspect my rear end is slightly bent. It was hit while parked out front of my house. There is a slight vibration that you can feel in the transfer case lever at speeds of 60 - 80 mph. Also, the left rear tire, which took most of the impact, is not wearing properly. So I need someone who is saavy in this area.

Any good shops out there?

Thanks,

Brian

Brian,

Any competent alignment shop will be able to identify (and document) any damage. Most shops do '4 wheel alignment' via lazers... quick, accurate, and realitively inexpensive.

Good luck!

Mickey,

Thanks for the reply. but my truck has already been to the alignment shop. The truck was hit so hard that it broke the leaf spring. I even had the tires double checked for balance. I've crawled underneath to check U-joints and the pinion... I've encountered bent rearends before that do not show up on an alignment rack. I'm hoping to find a shop that somebody has good experience with and that I can use in the future. I'll even go as far as Stockton or Sacramento for a good shop. Even a dealership, if they are good with their customers. Are there any shops that you like? Thanks Brian.
