Yeap,I have another one for ya. A sixty year old woman in Colorado Springs shot a guy who came into her home in the middle of the night. They arrested the woman and then found out he had raped eight women in that area of town in eight months. She was released and apoligized to by the police. "good hunting G-ma"!

She wasn't arrested... She was questioned and released under the Colorado "Make my day" Law.

It states that if an armed person comes into your house and you feel threatened, you have the right to shoot them... period.

There have been at least two other incidents in the last two years of people defending their homes down here.

I'm a firm believer in personal protection. My weapons of choice are a 12GA Mossberg 800A and Colt 1991A1 . 45 cal.

No sound in the world carries through a quiet house like the sound of a 12GA pump being racked. #ad

I had an 18 year old make it into my bedroom August 1982. My wife woke me up I reached under the bed grabbed the old model 94 winchester 30-30 cocked the lever an the boy got out faster than lightning. I fired into the fireplace. It was total darkness. I now leave nightlights on.
He was caught on the other side of the block a few weeks later doing the same thing.
Bad thing is it took me about 2 years to get over that mess. Traumatized!
