Local Sam's club has 235/85/16 Goodyear AT/R's for sale at $107 per tire (good looking all terrain tread pattern with lugs on the outside tread). Seem like a good price for a premium tire. The tire rack does not list the AT/R, just the AT/S. Goodyears web site only lists the AT/S for the USA and the AT/R for other countries. Is this a new tire for the US? Anyone have any experience with the AT/R?

Do you mean the wrangler ATR? If so I ran them a couple years ago on my F 250 and was very happy with how they performed.

Yes, Wrangler AT/R's, were they good in the snow? Did they wear even? How many miles did they give you? How would you compare them with other major brand AT tires? I thought the price was right, $40 per tire less than the Michelin X brand that Michelin makes for Sam's club with a more aggressive thread pattern.

If memory serves me correct, they lasted about 50,000 miles on my F-250. They did good in the snow and mud also and had a smooth ride. I liked them over all. The price souunds good also.
