Goodyear G 614 RTS

Has anyone tried this tire? It is new on the market, and as far as I can tell it is the only G rated 16 inch tire. I am trying to get to a G rating without going to 19. 5's. I am considering a set mounted on Alcoa wheels.

My 5th wheel RV came with G/Y- 16”, G-159 load range “G” all steel tires. (Even the sidewalls are steel cord)



I understand that they have been discontinued and have been replaced with the G614RST or the 647RSA tire. After 4 ½ years the G-159s look almost new, no flats or bubbles etc. and we travel a lot.

Don’t have any experience with the replacements. Why don’t you check out the Goodyear site?

I have checked the Goodyear site. They were very nice and called me back to answer all of my questions. I would just like to hear from someone that had tried them. The tire that they are making now is a G 614 RTS, and is only available in LT 235/85 R16.
