I've got 4200 miles on my new Dually and I just noticed that the sidewalls are warped on 3 of 6 tires (just did a quick inspection when I noticed it, so maybe more).

Has anybody else had this problem???

What do you mean by "warped"? My Michelins have some bulges running from the bead to tread but I believe it's normal. No problems as of 25k.

If you mean buldged right around the bead, welcome to the club. It is a defect and you should be able to get some kind of an adjustment from Goodyear. Do a search on Goodyear tire defects and you should be able to get some more information. I didn't catch it on mine until I had almost 70,000 miles on them, the second set doesn't have the same problem, they were supposed to have fixed the problem. Oops, see you have an 04, maybe they didn't fix the problem.

WARPED--

mklucas-- If you mean a discernable "ripple" from the wheel to the tread, most radials exibit this. I've had Goodyears,(spit), BF Goodrich, and Michelins do the same thing, both on the Dodge, and work trucks, both Chebby and Furds... ... No big deal, I run mine at 80 mph all day long as long as I have PROPER air pressure. RonOo.

Don't worry about the ripples, they're normal, wait till the sidewall starts falling apart, I've had 3 tires so far start with little weather cracks and within weeks it looks like the tire is shredding.

My dad's had the same problem with his.

I guess you could describe it as a ripple - it looks like there are slight bulges running around the sidewall, as there is a straight line from wheel to tread that seems to be tight and then on either side of that it appears to bulge out a little. Just wondered if this was the start of something serious and if I should get new tires from Dodge.

Thanks everybody...

Assuming your issue is a ripple and not something else. On a new car several years ago, there were "ripples" in the sidewalls that ran from the tread to the bead area where the tire mounted to the wheel. Took it to the tire dealer-don't even remember the brand of tires now-and they pulled out a memo from the manufacturer that indicated such ripples are normal and will not affect tire wear, longevity, etc. They are created as part of the manufacturing process since the tire is built in segments and the ripples are where the segments are joined.
