Anyone have experience or heard anything about the Goodyear Wrangler GSA LT 37x12. 5 tire? This is the tire that goes on the Hummer Intended use would be primarily pavement, non-loaded, some offroad.

Thanks

You guys getting these under stock heigth trucks?? I have 33. 5's now and they look small. I also added 2" lift to the front of the truck to even it out. I was looking at the 35" BF Goodwrench radials. I thought they were the biggest tire you could fit on our stock rims and still fit under the fenderwells. Could I get a set of these 36" and 37" tires to fit on my truck??

Chad,

I have a 2" leveing kit on the front axle like you do. The 36" tires would rub the moulded Dodge mudflaps, but thats it. The tire is close to the plastic fender well liner at 3/4 turn, but has not hit in 2 years. A mile of room between any sheet metal.

DUH! Just saw the link to the 36" page. Looks like they would fit. Who sells these tires? Do you have to order them? Shipping charges would turn that $140 price into about $200 a tire real quick. Thats a little too much. Need to find a place I can pick a set up. I live in Indiana if you guys know of some one close.

Chad, I dug up a recipt. Shipping for each tire was $19. 40 + $3. 40 F. E. T. This was from West Virgina to Connecticut.

Last I knew National Tire & Wheel was the exclusive & only distributer for Denman Coyote tires.

Keep in mind my rims are not real wide. I think 6. 5". If yours are wider, this may change everything. Best thing to do is order 1 and test fit it. Thats what I did. Rears are no problem. Fronts are gonna be close.

These are the bad points of the tire:

1. ) 6 ply or load range C. Not real tough. 35 psi max recommended.

2. ) The tall side wall flex's easy. This could cause the steering to feel sloppy & vague. My buddy that tried the tires did not experience it. My 6. 5" wide OEM Dodge wheels are really too narrow for the tire. They'll tend to crown in the center at max pressure. Fronts won't have this problem. Rears will. An 8" wide wheel is better. I have made panic turns & stops with the tires. Nothing out of the ordinary was noted.

3. ) Need to find an independent garage to mount & balance the tires. The big chain stores won't touch them. "If the tire blows up in my techs face, I'm not covered" and other BS.

4. ) A light Truck alignment rack is too small. A heavy truck alignment rack is too big. Need a medium duty one.

5. ) I had one tire that was out-of-round and un-mountable. They overnighted me another N/C. If this was tire tire store, they could pull another off the rack.

If its possibe to find a local tire shop that could order 1 of these for you to try on the front first, It would save a lot of extra running around and $. #ad

Great tire, I use them both on and off-road. They last about 50k.

I run the Denman Cotoye LT305/85R16's. about 36" tall & 10" wide. Similar to the Goodyears. I run them on the OE 7" Chrome Dodge wheel.

They are only a 6 Ply or load range C, so heavy towing or hauling is not recommended.

Excellent on-highway tires. Great in the snow too. Not much tread noise. Very little tread wear in 20K miles.

About $141. 00 a tire
