Was in St. Joe, MO. the other day, I just got out of the truck& was standing in the Denny's parking lot, when this noisey '03 drives by & stops at the light. I watched & listened as he drove off. This didn't have the standard Cummins sound, it sound like a real loud lawn mower! It was obvious the owner had done something to the exhaust, but it did not sound good. It was actually silly sounding. It sounded loud, but non-diesel. Most stock 03's are pretty quiet, so this one had been altered, but it didn't turn out very good. Would straight piping these sound any different than a 12 or 24v?

wrong forum, but

The inline 6 exhaust note shouldn't change that much. Kirk has an 03 that he's about to put a 5" on, but I'm not sure what muff or not he's planning on.

I still want to see an 03 with STACKS! Oo.

There's a stacked 03 here in town, I have only seen it once and it sounded pretty good but not as good as mine of course:D
