Goofiest thing I have ever seen......

Anyone traveling any of the Interstates going towards New Orleans, once you have gotten within 4 to 5 hundred miles of the city, will see dozens of FEMA travel trailers being hauled in everyday.



This last week I got in on a 200 trailer deal and bought over 60 units we have been hauling BACK out of Gulfport, Ms. and Hammond, La. This is the 3rd batch of trailers I have gotten involved in in the last 90 days. They are all 2006 models and some were never used.



Couple this with the over 30 thousand mobile homes in Ark. that FEMA has not even picked up( and probably won't) rates this as one of the biggest chinese fire drills in our nation's history.



There waste in going in my pocket! Oo. :-laf

You can't blame the government for taking them there.



The political party not in power would accuse the party in power of not caring and not doing anything, even if the trailers were never used.



It is a no win deal for the party in power.

But you can blame for as of last week still hauling them down. I was really shocked to see a bunch leaving Elkhart again over the last week or so. OUR TAX DOLLARS HARD AT WORK... . GO PRES GO

Why blame him? How about the whiners like Faith Hill and Tim McGraw that are STILL complaining that they need things down there. Not enough done... . etc etc etc. How about actually organizing the things that are down there? How about putting these trailers in the proper locations?



Last I checked..... it took more than ONE man to make a decision like that. But only one to take the blame. How about placing some blame on YOUR Congressman?



Man I'm sick of all the "Bush bashing. " It takes more than ONE man to run this country. Your congressman, mine, etc all have a say in what goes on here. They coudl have taken the initative to do something. None did. As far as I'm concerned, the ENTIRE Govenment is to blame. Democrats, Replublicans, and Independants. And really... ... How about the Government officials of THAT state that still have their head in the sand. They STILL haven't done anything!

Are you talking about the travel trailers that are about 29' long and have one window on the drivers side? If so, I see about 8 or more a week going south though NW Iowa.



I've found some of these on the GSA web site. They're in Florida and they're trashed! One is still intact, the rest are just frames with the plywood decking.

There must be a lot of used ones down there also. My 2000 Terry 5th wheel got sent down there when I traided it in back in October.
