Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
The 489 pinion uses a crush collar, there are sleeve/shim kits to replace that collar to make a more solid unit.
Mines a very mild lo comp 340 .528 solid purple shaft and W2 econo head, 904 trans 8.75/ 4.88. Runs 12.40~70 in the heat. Very reliable combo since 1991.
In the future I'd like to do a race 416. I love my SB Mopars. I'm in the process of making it more street friendly. A higher oil pan and TTI header/ full exhaust and 4.10's coming together.
I just finished the 4.10's the other day. Very slow, cash is tight.
