Gooseneck grease?

Tandem duelly trailers?

Can someone explain fuel surcharge?

I have the B&W turnoverball with the gooseneck adaptor...



Here is the a pic of the gooseneck adaptor:

And I have this extender to push the trailer back 4 inches:

What type of grease should I use to lube the hitch up where it makes contact with the ball?
 
Chassis grease is fine.



Depending on how the trailer s built, the adapters aren't a real good idea. It causes extra stress on the pin box and trailer. The potential is there for a failure of one of the components. My uncle use and adaprter with his 37' 5th. I've talked to him about. So far, no troubles.
 
There's a teflon grease that I use. Buy it at WalMart where they sell the tow hitches. It comes in a small container with a lid, it's clean (for grease :D ) and easy to haul around. I use it on all my ball mounts and no problems. Apply it regularly. A small container will go farther than you think!
