B&W. I've had no trouble with mine. Plus B&W claims to have a 5th wheel hitch that'll slide right into your B&W reciever if you ever need to go that way.
I would also suggest doing a TDR search on gooseneck hitches. You'll find plenty of reading.
I've got a Una-Goose and like it. Its the highest rated hitch out there, and I have been known to look like I pull a wheel off the ground leaving stoplights and staying ahead of 4 cylinder mustands to 70mph with a 25' trailer with 2 tons on it. It has had 0 problems in the 7 years it has been on the truck. it is made of heavy steel tubeing, not a plate. The ball is held in with some very hard steel balls that are like an industrial air hose coupler. It cant come unhooked w/o removing the trailer and the chain hooks. No under bed levers to mess with. The ball coms out so it is level with the bed.
The una goose is a slick set up , becuase you do not need to cut holes for the safety chains, like all other brands, just the ball. Take a look at www.unagoose.com
We have two types of gn hitches on the farm. On my 91, it has a fold down ball (not sure of brand), it works nice and is level with the bed floor when not in use. On my dad's 97 we welded a piece of steel 2"x4" across the frame. Just drilled a hole in the middle of the bed and steel and bolted in a ball. That is the cheap way to go. alonzo
We have used both the Unagoose and the B&W systems. Wouldn't use either ever again. The B&W gets you dirty from pulling the pin from the wheelwell and the Unagoose gets dirt/sand in it and doesn't rotate well to release the ball/cover. Just depends how clean you keep your truck. Ours are rarely clean enough.
We do use a nice fold-down ball that works real well and its cheap. About $350 for the system/install/trailer brake & light wiring. The installers put the plate level w/ the bed floor then weld the plate to the bed. No rust and when folded down, its perfectly flat w/ the bed floor.
Off the subject a little, our neighbor is on the bull riding circuit and B&W gave him that burgundy 2000 F250 on their webpage for sponsorship. Its pretty sweet.
