Got a 2013 3500 TODAY

I traded my 01 dually for a 2013 3500 dually automatic. Had a issue with the factory GN hitch, the hitch was fine just that the ball assy is on national backorder. I hade to lathe my own ball assy to fit the MOPAR hitch. Left the dealer with the new truck hitched to my Living quarters GN trailer. Jumped on I-90 an broke the truck in going over the pass. All I can say is WOW. This bone stock truck pulled over the pass just as good as my 04 with LOTS of mods on it. Love the auto trans. . Oo.

The B&W setup is for 3500s with the new crossmember but without the factory gooseneck package (the cast insert).

I ran the hell out of my 11 Ho over the same pass going home from Dave Smith Motors in Kellog Idaho. I assume that is where you bought yours?

I got mine at Dwayne Lane in Everett, Closer to home and they treated me right. Left Everett on Wed noon (with the trailer) This evening (Thursday) I am in Fort Benton Montana. Got just short of 1000 towing miles on the truck so far. Rig is about 25. 000#. Unfortunatly out of Missoula we took highway 200 north to Great falls. There was about 40 miles of FRESH CHIP SEAL on the road. Tar all over the sides of my NEW truck. Chipped the rear fenders in a couple of places from oncoming traffic. . Spent almost 4 hours removing tar and waxing tonight. . One of the great side notes is that after 2 HARD days of towing MT passes and head winds my ears do NOT ring when I lay down at night. AND I am not as tired, this thing is EASY to tow with. . Kind of just drive.



I have not hand checked fuel use so far. I want to get her broke in first. The puter puts the first 1000 towing miles at 10. 8mpg. . I would love it if that was correct, but I am not going to trust it yet.

That would figure as about right. Mine does about the same mileage with a similar trailer, sometimes a little better, but I have 19,000 miles.
