Got a 6.7L

I was on the fence for awhile on this one... I have heard so many negative things about these engines, but after test driving a few of them I finally gave in...



I bought a leftover demo '08 Quad Cab 4x4 with about every option except Nav. The truck had 2500 miles on it.



I love the truck so far. I have put 600 miles on it, and the first tank got 18. 1 mpg hand calc (500 miles, all interstate with the cruise set at 72 mph). This is better than my '07 did on the same route.



The only thing I don't like so far is the way the automatic tries to shift into OD so quickly and then cycles the TC lockup on and off. When I am in town I use the autostick to control this a little better.

Well the truth is that usually you only hear when someone has problems with their truck, not the thousands that work as designed everyday. Drive it hard (like a diesel likes it) do your maintanence, and read the TDR for tips and upgrades.
