Hey ya all,

I realize this is a TD website, but noticed that there was a forum area that says other vehicles. I was wondering if any one had started a motorcycle ownership thread. was searching, but I doubt that no one has owned something newer than 2008 or whatever. SO, I thought I would start one that puts everyone's bikes in one spot so we can admire them.

If not ok, Mods delete it. if ok, Thank you because I LOVE bikes to include ANY brand!

I'll start with my current ride...
2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R SE (that's my wife standing behind it. Yes she is that short)

I've had other bikes... 2011 GSXR750, 2007 FJR1300, 2004 GSXR750, 2002 Hayabusa, 2002 VFR800, 1992 Honda Nighthawk CB750. Enjoyed them all thoroughly.

Anyone got some bikes to add?

Thank you.

LOVE them old Hondas! None right now, but learned on a CT70H (4speed) and had a '71 CL100 and a '76 XL350. Not nuts enough to ride in NYC. Someday though.

I've had a bunch. Several Honda dirt bikes, Yamaha IT 250, and now I've got an old SWM 370 that was a factory ISDT bike ridden by Bill Mathewson in the early 80s. For street bikes I've had a '75 Norton 850 Interstate, a Suzuki GS1000E, and finally an '85 Yamaha V Max. It was the first one sold in RI. I gave up street riding in '89 when I came to the realization there was too much traffic and not enough open road in Southern New England for it to be fun. If I ever manage to get out of here and go somewhere less populated I'll ride again. I really like the looks of a new KTM 1290 Super Duke.

You'll need to Google it. It was a short lived Co. from Italy. They made 125 and 250 production motocross and enduro models. The 370 I have was a one off factory bike given to Bill. He was a very well known trials rider here in New England. He took the bait and attempted to qualify nationally on this less than competitive machine. I suppose it's alright but even with the 370 Rotax motor it was about 15 years behind he times. My buddy says it looks like a Russian motorcycle. Twin shocks, poor forks, small and ineffective drum brakes and a power band like a lite switch. It has spit me off at the most inoppertune moments more times than I can count. The last time I came of the back it split a seam in the gas tank and I put it in the shed. That was 5-6 years ago. My body just can't take the abuse it hands out any longer.

I did, and the wiki page claimed it's similar to a Bultalco, which I've seen. Sounds like a special bike that belongs on display somewhere.

We had beautiful Gold Wing GL 1800 which was really a lot of fun. this pic was taken in Canada when we toured around lake Superior a few years ago. I had to sell it to help pay for our new camper and slightly used diesel. the Gold Wing was awesome but we do really enjoy our trailer! :)
