Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Well every now and then a good deal comes along. I just bought a new Dodge Cummins and I'm preparing for my first oil change. I called a couple places today looking for a good deal on oil filters. The first place I called said they wanted $9. 60 for the stratapore filter I needed. I then called another place and they quoted me $7. 80 for the filter. I then asked the guy if he would give me a discount if I bought more. He said if I would buy six filters, he would sell them for $6. 88 a piece. I asked him if there was another price break for more filters but he said that the price I was paying was just . 50 above their cost and that this price was less than the fleet price. I asked him if I came back later for more filters if I could get the same deal. He said he wasn't sure about that so I just went ahead and bought a case (12) of the filters. So now I'm set for my first oil change... and the second... . and just in case somebody stops by who might need an oil change.
