Hey guys need some feed back on what this could be. When i do a tight turn with the steering wheel something growns up front. I am thinking the ps, but that was replaced middle of last year. Could it be the track bar?

Sometimes the power steering pump - switching to synthetic seems to help - or possibly the clutches in the limited slip unit if you have one...

Kind hard without extra effort - most of us suck out what we can with a kitchen baster, fill with synthetic, run for a day or so, then do it again until we've used up a quart of synthetic - seems to do the job OK...

If you hold the steering wheel in a full lock position (turned full right or left), you may be causing the power steerign pump to 'bypass'. Allow the steering wheel to come off of full lock jsut a bit and if the noise goes away, then this is normal.

It could also be a bad wheel bearing or poor adjustment of pre load on the wheel bearing. If you have non stock tire size or a raised / lowered suspension, when you go to full lock could the tire be rubbing on something in the wheel well? Check for rub marks on the components.

Good luck. :p

It is not the tires rubbing because i am still running stock size. I am going to try synthetic ps fluid to see if this helps. Thanks for the info so far guys.
