Home heating oil -- diesel fuel -- SAME THING! The only difference is the color. Red dye is added. I know for a fact that my oil furnace in my house happily burns diesel fuel. Also, on the paper receipt I get from the driver of the truck that delivers my heating oil, it says right on it that "heating oil IS #2 red dyed diesel. " So now you know what to do with this 200 gallons. Drive on - the price is right!!

Also Marc, if this makes you feel better, I burned red dyed diesel (#2 heating oil) in my truck for a few years. Ran great!! Then my supply ran out so I had to start buying. :{ See if your friend can get more!! :-laf

If you have access to home heating oil. . go for it.

thanks Now I found about 300gal of heating oi but it has been in the tank for a few years Does it go bad like gas or can I add some thing to it.

it should be fine... note that HHO is not Low Sulfur fuel, though

Lower sulfur content... don't know what else you need. The fuel you buy now at the pump is Low Sulfur...

heating oil is not low sulfer will the sulfer content effect anything.
