Impressions and Costs

I was at a gun show in Houston last weekend, and I ran across a Burris 6-24X56 Black diamond series scope. It was good as new with not one scratch on it. I only paid $475. 00. This included the origional box, docs, cover and everything that came with the scope. New at SWFA, this same scope goes for $669. 00. I bought an Armalight base for the weaver mount, and it looks great sitting on the M25. After sighting it in, I was able to put rounds through the same hole at 100 Yards. (not touching, I really mean the same hole)

I was looking for a Leupold scope, but I couldnt pass up this deal, and spending the money for the Leupold would'nt make me any better shot, so I figured what the heck.

Now its off to the 400 yard range to see what I can do there :D

I can't speak for that particular scope, but Burris scopes in general are fine optics. I used to have a Burris pistol scope mounted on a bull barrel Contender in . 22LR. Could shoot it all day with 100 rds. and the Burris never let me down. I can't see much difference between the Leuopold Var-X3's and the Burris, both are great scopes.
