Got bad news today

Checked the e-mail this morning and low and behold an e-mail from Geno's. Sorry, but the Dipricol EGT is out of stock but should ship to you in about 3 weeks. That ruined my whole ding-dang day. I've got a Bully Dog Downloader and RFI intake coming tomorrow, An A-pillar gauge pod coming today and a boost and fuel pressure gauge coming next week. I sure hate to download the new stuff into my ECM without that egt gauge.

Same thing happened to me. I got mine about 5 weeks later. IMO, if a company doesn't have something, they should tell you BEFORE you order it. What a novel idea.

If they dont have them call Danin/Dipricol. I had to order mine directly through them and they should have them in stock.

Thanks for the info guys but I ordered online through Geno's so I don't want to pay twice for something. However, it would be a neat idea to put a pyro on each cylinder and see if they are all about the same temp. Just a thought... . but an expensive one.

Hey, Red-Rider, took your advice and called up Danin and wouldn't ya know, they're on back order too. The sales lady also told me that would be higher than Geno's on price as well. I just stuck with the original order from Geno's. I don't think I can wait till the middle of June to actually use the new downloader :{ . Maybe if I just leave it on tow mode I'll be alright . I've got the BOMB itch that's just beggin to be scratched. I'm ready for all hell to break loose when I set that baby on extreme mode. I guess my biggest hang-up is not being able to see my truck smoke. There is nothing sweeter than seeing a diesel puke black smoke :-laf . A buddy of mine has the torque dog on his 600 and I've seen him literally cloud up an intersection here in town... looked like an ol' 12-valve leaving the red-light in high gear. The only reason I chose the downloader instead of the torque dog was a claimed lower egt issue. . we shall see... if my freakin pyro ever gets here.

You could always go with the ISSPRO gauge, that is what I have and it is a very nice gauge.
