Competition Got beat by a ford explorer

I'm at a light where the left lane ends about 100 yards from the far side of the intersection. As I sit there in the middle lane, I see the explorer side up on the ending lane side of me. As we take off he starts to moderately speed up and I pace him, then he nails it so I jump ahead of him by a length. As I look at him in my rear-view I notice alternating read and blue lights in his grill. then the siren, then I see the canine behind the cage in back :{ and I'm doing 70 in a 40...

This was an umarked road rage car. He let me go with a verbal. I did a bad, bad thang!

That sounds like entrapment to me... now if you would have stopped at 40..... that would have been different.

it looks like entrapment which coule be the reason for the warning as it probably wouldn't have held water in court.
