I'm moving into the dark side now... ... .



Details:

See sig and I'm wanting extra power (for impressing ferds) and will be towing about 11K worth of old tractor iron, plus the trailer. Whoops sig does have my 3:54 rear gear on it.



This is what I'm thinking of doing and at the risk of letting all the BOMBing big dogs bark, I would like opinions on;



1) Am I going to be able to do these mods in my garage or will it take a shop. I'm pretty confident on all except the vb change.



2) Do I need to do the vb or will the transmission hold up. I'm looking for reliabilty here.



3) Is this the correct transmission modification. Bill K, you out there?



4) Any special tools needed.



Looking at a towing vb from DTT. I'm not leanng towards any of the other suppliers for the rest of the parts.



Upgrades:

Towing vb from DDT

Edge Hot box

DDT2 injectors

4" exhaust



Other pending mods:

3500 rear wheel brake cylinders

replace front brake line that's rubbed with ss braided line.



I've been reading this site for months and you have finally sucked me in... ... . The rest of the bonus check will be used to silence screams and such from TBH. Maybe some food for the kids, wait the school feeds them at least once a day... ... ...

As far as your power increases and transmission questions, IMHO, you should call Bill or e-mail Bill directly. this way you can discuss what is best for you for what you are doing now and in the future for power enhancements.
