Got in a accident on Interstate 5 about 20 miles south of Sacramento. Old guy was trying to pass me on the right and hit my right front fender flare with his left front 1/4 panel. It totally caved in his 1/4 panel and just barely scratched my fender flare. I told him not to worry about it and take off. I was impressed with the strength of the flare and the sheetmetal it is screwed to considering we were doing about 75 mph when he hit me and the damage done to his car. Some folks shouldn't be driving.

A teenage friend of my daughter was backing up and caught my Warn fender flair with the end of her Toyota front bumper. Put a hole in the inside of my flair but ripped the bumper off the Toyota, did $400 worth of damage to her car. And she gets p!ssed at me!

Thats what my truck has on it. Warn. They stick out about 4 inches but they are tough as hell.

Steve, sounds the same as mine, they are the 4x type. The Warns aren't totally bullet proof, when the temps drop below zero they get brittle. A rock hit mine when it was cold, shattered it in a bunch of pieces, Warn replaced it for free. Only problem was I had to wait two months for the temp to get to 70° for the 3-M tape to work. Good thing it was on the passenger side, I hardly noticed it was gone.

Got rearended a couple months ago in my dualie. Have big hitch reciever sticking out back-needless to say no damage to my truck but the bitc- lady in the camaro wasn't to happy when I drove forward to unimpale her radiator and it ripped out her condenser and 1/2 a radiator. #ad
