Competition Got me a beemer yesterday.

Just the Smarty on 9. 480-ish hp is what I guess I have at the wheels with #9.



Rather simple race. 3 lanes. 3 cars pacing each other. I get behind the beemer in the right lane and he moved up kinda quick. I just pulled up to his left and barked the turbo. Race on!. Jumped back in it. Stayed even for this due to some traffic.



Once around traffic we had a little more even run from 70+. We were even till I was around 100mph and I actually started to PULL! WTF? Isn't this aerodynamically backward?



We did this 3 or 4 times. Each time I pegged the speed-o at 120 and put at least 2 trucks on him.



The beemer was de-badged 3 series coupe. so I'm not sure of the exact possible motor option. I don't think it was the twin turbo I-6. Must of been the base line motor. It was an 06-07-08, the latest body style 2 door.



We ended on a thumbs up note! Love a fellow street racer that isn't a prude!

Bring that beemer what ever 1300CC bike he may have to Detroit, I have a good friend up there with a little Talon that loves to take them bikes to school. :-laf

Not sure were the 1300cc bike came from, but his Bimmer runs pretty good. Any street car that can trap 125mph or better is just sick and the fact that its never been on a dyno is even crazyer.

Id like to see this street driven Talon that can run past 1300cc bikes. That thing must be insane, A friend just picked up a BMW from Detroit that would pull on 700rwhp Supras, I wonder if the Talon and him lined up at any point ?

Talon is being re-worked this winter. it's getting a t-105 or 110 or something just way to big for a 2 liter.



The sticker on his back window reads something like: "Yeah, it's faster then your bike, and weights 2900 pounds more".



I have no idea whom he races, it's been a few summers missed with heath issues tho.



The one car that left him standing still a few years back was a legit Lingenfelter twin turbo vette.

You know it man, I picked up a full second and 10 mph over early casting iron 302 heads. 12. 98 to 11. 96 the rest has been taller tires and jetting. You will not be sorry.
