Got my 2013 today (with picture)

I am in love! Drw 3500 Aisin. Only regret is the 4. 10s. Can someone tell me how to operate the camera up at the third brake light that looks in the box? Not in the owners manual. I can't figure it out.

Thanks, Jared

Congrats on the new truck, hope you continue to be impressed as I am with mine. . Yours has a 2nd camera on the cab??? What a great idea. . I assume you should be able to access the camera controll on the information center (radio) in the controll section.

Congratulations on getting your new truck. Bet it felt like years unit it got here.
Already commented on the controls for your Camera.
Did you get the max tow package with your truck? Good luck with your new truck.

My gross combination is 26K. Only 10% of the time am I pulling this. The other 90% is with a 100 gallon transfer tank and some tools/parts in the box. At 75mph I am about 2100rpm. 4. 10s are a major overkill for my application. 3. 73s would have been perfect. This truck is nothing like I imagined, far better!! The power is amazing, the ride smooth, the interior/exterior far exceeds anything Ram has previously produced. Empty, the Aisin is sweet. Won't get to tow for a week or two. Still want to know how to make that CHMSL camera work/show up on the Uconnect?

On the touch screen, press the controls icon, then you will see the button for the cargo camera. Makes hitching up a breeze.

I imagine the CHMSL camera will be a very helpful for loading slide in campers too. Since the crew cab rear window further back than a Quad-Cab, less of the truck bed will be visible from the driver's seat. My Lance camper has an exact 4'x 8' footprint which gives less than 2" inches clearance on each side between the wheel wells. I am careful when loading the camper to not scrape the wheel wells and at the same time keep the camper straight and centered in the truck bed.

Thanks for the explanation but at what point did you figure it out? Was it the only truck on the lot and you wanted a truck? I ended up with 3:42's because that is what they had with the options I wanted.

I really doubt your mileage will be much different than with 3:73's.

The good thing is you will never say "I wish I had the 4:10's" !

I ordered the truck from Kernersville dodge in North Carolina. I wanted a bench seat in the front(6 kids) no one had a Laramie with a bench. By the way, sticker price was $64,600. There first quote to me was $56,000. I said sold. Also, they have 1,000 cars on the lot. Last month they sold 525 vehicles. I believe they told me they were the largest Ram dealer on the East coast. Ordered the last Monday in June. Dealer received truck Aug. 6th.

Beautiful truck! You will love the 4. 10's, just wait until you tow. I tow a fiver that grosses a little over 14k in the mountains out west. I love the 4. 10's with this combo!

Was 56 out the door with or without tax?

I paid 56 out the door for mine, 11 HO Dually 4X4 Longhorn with all the options. I cant wait to see what my price out the door for a similar 14 Max everything with my 11 in trade.

I just passed a dealer in NJ with a SRW just like that out front n center, but black n gold lower. REAL NICE! Long may she run... .

With the double overdrive 6 speed automatics, the 4. 10s are great either towing or unloaded. Give 'em a chance and I think you'll really like 'em.

The wheels are the factory 17" x 6" aluminum. The $56,000 was without taxes/tags. I own a black Denali Yukon XL. I will never own black again. It shows dirt quicker then any other color. I also purchased the extra factory warranty that takes the 3yr/36k to a full 5 year bumper to bumper. That was like $1850 on top of the $56,000.

Your money but did you know your engine AND drivetrain have a 5 year 100K warranty?

So you paid for a two year extension on everything else for $1,850. In my book not worth it at all.

That is a good price on the truck since the Aisin is extra compared to my 11 HO Longhorn Dually.
