Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) question on DDIII's

Got rear ended a few weeks back by a guy that don't habla insurance. I was the meat in a 1/2 ton Dodge/Toyota Seqouia sandwich. Senor Martinez totalled his 1/2 ton, folded everything attached to the core support over the top of the engine, shoved the whole front clip into the doors (tee hee hee). Knocked me into the Toy, just caved in the back door.

The bad news; pushed in my stock front bumper, bent my hitch reciever down and tore a bolt out of it, bent the back bumper down and got into the bed under the R taillight and busted the light out. Oh, and also bent the frame where the reciever bolted on.

The good news; new bumpers, new Rip's exhaust (he got into that too) the bed looks as good on the inside as it does the outside. They also repainted the entire bed, roof (oxidized), hood (oxidized), front fenders (chipped/dinged) and color sanded and buffed what they didn't paint. Pulled and squared the frame, aligned it, and gave it back. Except for the door dings (they offered me a great deal to refinish the doors too, but I didn't have they extra cash) it looks like almost new.

I'll tell ya boys, it's like having a close relative in the hospital. Had to go by and visit it every day 'til I got it back. Longest two weeks I ever spent was driving a rental F#*d Escape.

If you make it this far, I HIGHLY recommend this body shop for those of you in So California:
