i think it is coming from the tube that sticks out from underneath the truck. i'm not sure what the tube is for. it normally has oil on it but now i just noticed some on the garage floor. is this normal? thanks. scott.

Scott what you can do is use a vitamin type plastic bottle with a 1" to 1/2" opening. Just poke a couple of holes in the threaded part of the top, no lid, and hold it up with the blowby hose inserted with wire or a cable tie though the holes. Pretty simple. Remember to empty it when you change oil. For some reason the 24 valve guys like to remove theirs, it could be that the oily fumes are directed upwards and coat the bottom of the truck. Having the tube just shoot straight down keeps the fumy oil on the ground rather than the bottom of the truck. I guess if you want to get fancy you could build a bottle that fits the hoses tight with an outlet hose directed where you want (mini sump). Problem I see with this is if the bottle is full and you hit a bump or big tilt the oil could all come out at once causing an even bigger mess.
